The rise of Christian Nationalism in our country is putting everyone’s freedom to worship—and just to live with fairness—at risk. We’ve already seen it chip away at important freedoms and twist the rules and norms we’ve long relied on. Voices Reclaimed is a space to process what’s happening, talk honestly about how it affects us, and explore how we can respond with hope and purpose.
Our next journey together takes us into Separation of Church and State, a thoughtful, funny, and deeply heartfelt look at how faith and democracy can coexist without losing their integrity. John Fugelsang invites us to peel back the layers of American history, scripture, and modern politics to rediscover a truth many of us already feel in our bones: Christianity is at its best when it leads with love, humility, and freedom—not power.
The group will continue to meet every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 am.
Voices Reclaimed invites us to take bold but manageable steps to support our community in these uncertain times. With God’s grace and everyone’s hands, Voices Reclaimed can become a living, breathing space of hope and healing.
